
He seems to like Grant Morrison's work and that's mostly because they love to drop as many references to the silver age as they can, so no surprise there. As a reader born the same year Supes died, it's really difficult to hear someone shitting on every example of the character you love.

Surprisingly those aren't his demographics, yet that's how the narration goes regardless. I had to look the author up because I got the impression that he was an older dude that grew up reading the golden and silver age comics and just hated anything different from that.

It's once we get to the 80's to present that it starts to get degrading to the character, creators, and really every representation of Superman in existence. I wanted to love this and I did for the first half.
